About the designer
John Andersson (1899-1969) is one of the well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He was one of the leading designers for the Höganäs factory in the 1940s-1960s. Andersson is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
