A beautiful Mid-Century Scandinavian lamp by Hans-Agne Jakobsson with black metal and brass leg and round base. The so called “Hot air balloon”-lamp designed by Hans Agne Jakobsson. Produced by his own company Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd, Sweden during the 1960s. Made from solid polished brass and black metal with an oversized round lamp shade in off-white chintz fabric. The shade has been hand sewn by a small artisanal lamp shade manufacturer in Sweden. The electric wiring is with a EU standard wall plug. Wear consistent with age and use. Signed with manufacturers mark.
